Our research and development on composting went far beyond the typical, and turned into a course on soil science with even greater depth on soil characterization, fertility and amendments than the MiniFarming books.  But beyond this, it also gave solutions for indoor, outdoor and even anaerobic methods.  In the interests of sanitation in the event of catastrophe, the details of safely composting human waste were also covered.  Whether the topic is indoor vermicomposting or using garden beds as compost piles, the subject was explored exhaustively.
